چکیده

The paper deals with a shaft sensor-less field oriented control structure for an induction motor based on neural network estimators. The first part presents the theoretical knowledge. The second part presents the simulation and results of designing neural estimators for observing the magnetic flux and the motor angular speed for induction motor field oriented control in MATLAB-Simulink. Controllers for simulation of shaft sensor-less field oriented control have been designed by state space method. An achieved simulation result of the neural angular speed estimator has been verified by system of AC converter – induction motor by Real-Time system.

Using an Appropriate Controller for Independent Current Control for Motoring of Force Windings of Bearing less Induction Motor

A bearingless induction machine has combined characteristics of induction motor and magnetic bearings. Therefore, the advantages are small size and low-cost. In the magnetic suspension of the bearingless motors, suspension forces are generated based on the feedback signals of displacement sensors detecting the movement of the rotor shaft. The suspension forces are generated taking an advantage ...

Robust Backstepping Control of Induction Motor Drives Using Artificial Neural Networks and Sliding Mode Flux Observers

In this paper, using the three-phase induction motor fifth order model in a stationary twoaxis reference frame with stator current and rotor flux as state variables, a conventional backsteppingcontroller is first designed for speed and rotor flux control of an induction motor drive. Then in orderto make the control system stable and robust against all electromechanical parameter uncertainties a...

Design of a MRAS, Speed and Flux Estimators used in Sensorless Control of Induction Motors

Model reference adaptive system (MRAS) based techniques are one of the best methods to estimate the rotor speed. Speed and torque control of an induction motor is usually attained by application of a speed or position sensor. However, these require the additional mounting space, reduce the reliability and increase the cost of the motor. The recent trend in field oriented control (FOC) is toward...

Estimation Of parameter For Induction Motor Drive

Generally speed measurement is done with sensor, but disadvantage of sensor is difficult to measure speed at low speeds with sensor. These difficulties are eliminated by using sensor less Flux Orientation Controlled (FOC) . This paper proposes a Model Reference Adaptive System (MRAS) for estimation of rotor speed in FOC. An Induction motor is developed in stationary reference frame and Space Ve...

Sensorless Speed and Position Control of Induction Motor Drives

Controlled induction motor drives without mechanical speed sensors at the motor shaft have the attractions of low cost and high reliability. To replace the sensor, the information on the rotor speed is extracted from measured stator voltages and currents at the motor terminals. Vector controlled drives require estimating the magnitude and spatial orientation of the fundamental magnetic flux wav...
